Supporting people with their individual fitness goals is my passion
I came back to fitness in my mid-thirties after my daughter was born. I clearly remember looking at her and realising that I needed to look after my own health to be the best mother I could be for as long as I could. Starting out, it was really hard but I persisted and eventually fell in love with the sensation of strengthening my body.
Fitness is powerful, not only physically but emotionally and psychologically. Moving your body, feeling its strength is empowering. Fifteen years on, I vividly remember running up a slight hill pushing my child’s pram and looking on at myself with a sense of awe….I was so strong! I continued to exercise and, despite initial resistance, discovered running. Whilst running isn’t for everyone, for me it is moving meditation. I run for both physical fitness and mental wellness.
In 2015 I had a moment of clarity and knew what I had to do with my life. I enrolled in Fitness at TAFE and qualified as a Personal Trainer. I want to help others find their own wellness with exercise. I never was, and still am not, your stereotypical gym junkie and I’m not into #fitspo.
I am passionate about helping real people create a healthier and happier version of themselves every day.
